Shoot series at Ghazali Cinema Town!

Head of Ghazali Cinema Town, where a multitude of Iranian series were made in, says Iranian directors are more than welcome to make series in the complex.

Mr. FeizAbadi said in an interview with the media on Monday that the cinema town belongs to all Iranian filmmakers, adding that a new cinematic project on Imam Mohammad Bagher (PBUH) is set to be shot in the complex.

A large number of famous Iranian series with religious themes, including ‘Saint Mary’ and ‘Imam Ali’ (PBUH), are set in the complex.

The manager also said that he strives to change the appearance of the complex to a tourist attraction with cultural and religious plays to be staged in the cinema town.

Affiliated with the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Services and covering an area of 10 hectares, the complex was established in 1971, partially simulating old Tehran.

The exterior decoration of the structures and locations imitates that of the original ones. The complex includes three sections among which are Laleh Zar Avenue, the Municipality, and Old Toopkhaneh (modern Imam Khomeini) Square.

The complex can be visited daily by local and international tourist alike.
